In my therapeutic work I maintain a belief in the diversity of humanity, and honour both the uniqueness of each individual’s experience and our intrinsic interconnectedness with others.
It is my understanding that a connected client/therapist alliance can help support and deepen the kind of exploration that brings change. I work collaboratively and without judgement so that your own intentions, choices, and timing are respected throughout our process.
I work with individuals and couples experiencing a wide range of life situations and challenges including anxiety and depression, trauma and its effects, disordered eating and body image issues, and relationship struggles.
I have a Master’s degree in counselling from St. Paul University in Ottawa and am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. My professional time is shared between my private practice and a family services agency with which I have worked for the past several years.
